As a “company of one” there are so many things to manage, so many hats to wear. Whether it’s raining money or not, I’ve always been budget-savvy when it comes to business expenses. Here are five online resources, I use and the best news, they are free! Woo-hoo!
FYI these are not affiliate links – I truly believe in these resources.
For bookkeeping: Wave was built for businesses with 9 employees or less and can help manage your financials aspects, (integrate with your etsy and paypal for instance to invoice and watch receipts) for free.
Task reminding: I’m great at creating my to-do list and now I can remember and manage on-going ones better with Remember The Milk.
Appointment scheduling: If you would like potential or current clients to schedule time with you, you may want to check out Calendly.com. I’m just looking into this myself so I may post about my experience in a few months. Looks promising.
Website grading: Need a second opinion on your website? How about a professional one? The Website Grader from HubSpot is easy, fast and results are brief and understandable so you can make changes today. Awesome tool. I just did some of my client sites and my own (all did well but I want As) – improvements on the way! WooRank.com is also amazing and provides additional insights about traffic getting.
P.S. If you get results you need some help with – contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. $75 for an hour of tweaks is easy peasy and that’s one more thing not to worry about during this important time of the year!
Planning on “reverse trick-or-treating” tomorrow? Here’s a sweet little gift bat bag (free printable!) you can wrap up goodies in and include a business card.
